This Cartier Pasha chronograph is in unbelievably mint + condition from every aspect. The case, dial and bracelet are all in flawless condition. The Cartier Pasha was created in 1932 for the Sultan of Marrakech, who in fact was a ruler named Pasha. The Cartier Pasha is considered to be the first waterproof watch from Cartier. The Pasha was introduced into the official Cartier collection in 1943. Fast forward to 1985; famed watch designer Gerald Genta designed a version of the Cartier Pasha that most know today.
Stainless steel case is in absolute mint+ condition and measures 38mm in diameter. Crystal on this watch is sapphire for both the front and the display caseback. Screw down crown with Cabochon Sapphire set cap is attached to the case by a small chain. Cabochon Sapphire set chrono pushers working perfectly and eight screws secure the caseback.
Original silver dial with Guilloche and large Arabic numeral for the 12 o’clock. Beautiful blued steel hour and minute hands with luminous inserts as well as blued steel seconds hand. Chronograph featuring seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers. All lumes are in tact and the date aperture is featured at the 6 o’clock position.
Movement for this watch is the automatic winding Cartier Caliber 205. Watch is water resistant to 100 meters. Case, dial, movement and clasp are signed.
This is an absolutely beautiful watch in immaculate mint+ condition.
