Description
This watch is so light, at 53 grams, you will forget that you are wearing it. It’s also very stealthy with its black case and black dial. However, the red dial highlights and rubber strap give this wristwatch away as a sports watch. F.P. Journe is at the vanguard of the newest generation of truly great watchmakers, with both the creative vision of what timepieces can be and the watchmaking prowess to actually produce the watches they envision.
This watch is 100% unworn. Blackened aluminum case is 42mm in diameter by 11.3mm thick with knurled crown located adjacent to 4 o’clock. Sapphire front and display crystals.
Dial is matte black with highly luminous Breguet style arabic numerals, over-sized date display, white subsidiary seconds dial with red hand, AM/PM display next to 9 o’clock and power reserve indicator from 10 o’clock to 11 o’clock.
Movement is the aluminum(!) automatic winding in-house F.P. Journe Caliber 1300.3 which is adjusted to 5 positions. Winding rotor is engraved “lineSport” and “F.P. Journe Invenit et Fecit”. Power reserve is 120 hours!
Strap is full-length rubber with double-folding aluminum deployment clasp.
