The Vintage Heuer Bundeswehr flyback chronograph was created to be the companion of a German army pilot in the late 1960’s and 1970’s. The easy to read dial with rotating bezel and flyback chrono make this the ultimate pilots watch.
Original Case on this vintage piece is stainless steel and measures 43mm in diameter. Solid caseback. Steel screw down crown and push button chrono pushers. Military issue number found on the caseback underneath “BUNDESWEHR”. Notice the flat area on the top of the lugs just underneath the bezel.
Dial is all original. The lumes, chrono hands have all aged beautifully. Crystal is acrylic. Steel rotating bezel with 15, 30 and 45 markers with an inverted triangle at the 60. Gorgeous and unique central hands is a noticeable distinction to a vintage pilots piece.
