Description
Feast your eyes on one of the rarest watches ever made. Movado got to put their name on the dial, although the watch is a result of close collaboration between Movado and Zenith. Production of this model was only around 100 watches. Our watch is mint+ condition, with freshly serviced movement so it is running great.
Original, massive 18k gold case is 45mm long by 38.2mm wide by 15.7mm thick. The 14 sided solid gold bezel, along with the entire case, is in mint+ condition. Crystal is faceted plastic. Case back is a screw back in massive 18k gold. Original crown and chronograph pushers working perfectly.
Original gold dial, with all original hands, displays normal 12 hour time, constant seconds in the 9 o’clock subdial, chronograph 30 minute totalizer dial at 3 o’clock, chronograph 12 hour totalizer and moonphase in the 6 o’clock subdial, date between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock, and day and month in the apertures adjacenet to 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock respectively. Applied golden hour markers and original red sweep chronograph seconds hand. The dial has some minor signs of aging and is near mint to mint.
Movement is the legendary and highly complicated Caliber 3019 PHF with 17 jewels, bi-directional winding and column wheel construction. Movement is freshly serviced and running perfectly.
