Here is a stealthy Patek Philippe wristwatch, if ever there were one. Produced for only a few short years in the 1990s and in tiny quantity, the Neptune was available as an all stainless steel bracelet model or solid gold watch on a strap. This rare watch has a Tiffany & Co. co-signed silver dial and a design unique to the Neptune. The bezel is reeded and the center links of the bracelet repeat the pattern. For what this automatic Patek Philippe watch is, it is very cheap! Case is stainless steel with integral steel bracelet with double-folding butterfly style deployment clasp. Top surfaces of the watch are mirror polished while the case sides are brush finished. The “fit and finish” on this watch is wonderful. The crown has crown guards. Sapphire crystal. Dimensions are 36mm diameter which wears larger because of the crown guards by a slim 8mm thin. Original untouched Tiffany & Co. signed silver dial with large applied roman numerals, inside minutes chapter and date window at 3 o’clock. The dial is at once minimalist and attractive. Feuille golden hands with inlaid luminous and sweep center seconds. Automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315/190 with 30 jewels, self-compensating balance spring, solid gold rotor, 48 hour power reserve and engraved with the Geneva Seal. This rare Patek/Tiffany watch is affordable, collectable and very wearable and is complete with box and papers.
