Description
Girard Perregaux produces more haute horology than perhaps any other house. The Vintage 1945 Tourbillon with One Golden Bridge (Reference 9985) is just such an exlusive piece. This watch is brand new, and has a serial number of 1X.
Case is 18k rose gold. Dimensions are 34mm wide by 34mm tall by 12mm thick, excluding the lugs and crown. The watch appears significantly larger than its dimensions suggest. Sapphire crystal. Rose gold deployant clasp mounted.
GP Caliber 9610C, with 32 jewels and beating at 21,600BPH. This is a one minute tourbillon. I have read that the watch features a microrotor, but the caseback is solid and I will not open it for inspection.
Dial is eggshell white with applied numerals and tiny Girard Perregaux placard. Hands are dauphine. Tourbillon bridge is rose gold, with a ruby in the center.
