bel Caree 1911 is a square case automatic watch with style written all over it. Dial is black with applied mirror polished hour markers, date and sapphire crystal front and display back crystals.
Polished stainless steel case measures 40mm square by 10mm thick. Movement is Ebel automatic caliber 120 which is an upgraded ETA 2892 with 21 jewels beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (which provides an even rate and accurate timekeeping). The ETA 2892 movement is one of the finest automatic calibers made, and is often disguised by more elite Swiss brands using their own caliber designations. In the recent book "The Watch" by Gene Stone, the ETA 2892 is ranked as the third best time-only caliber in production from any manufacturer.
Strap is a very fine reptile leather with steel Ebel deployant buckle. Watch is brand new with box and papers. Retail price is $2950.
