EBEL 1911 XL DATE 9125250

The 1911 is Ebel's top model. Ebel was founded in 1911, hence the model name. 1911 models feature the unique 6 sided case with bezel attached by five screws. All 1911 models feature top quality automatic movements. The XL Date has an Ebel modified ETA caliber 2892 A2 with Jaquet calendar module. Given the automatic movement, the case is remarkably thin and also features a sapphire crystal. The Ebel bracelet is exceedingly nice, with polished and brushed segments and an invisible clasp. In fact, now it is hitting me: the "fit and finish" of this watch is truly amazing at this price.

Case is stainless steel, as described above. Dimensions are 40mm diameter by 10mm thick. Water resistant to 100 meters. Sapphire front and display back crystals. The case is brush finished, while the bezel and bezel screws are polished.

Dial is black with applied arabic numerals and hour markers. XL date display at the 6 o'clock position.

Movement is Ebel Caliber 125 beating at 28,800 beats per hour and with blued screws.

Bracelet is superb and is sized for an 8.25 inch wrist.
