Like most upper-tier Swiss watch brands, Franck Muller does not usually offer his most popular models in stainless steel. The profit margin for manufacturers is much higher on watches cased with a precious metal. So, finding watches like the Color Dreams Long Island in stainless steel is a big challenge. Look no more!
The Long Island case is my favorite Franck Muller case style. It's an ergonomically curved rectangle with dimesions of 45mm long by 32mm wide by 11.8mm thick. Sapphire crystal and screw-down caseback ensure maximum protection from water intrusion.
Movement is an high grade Franck Muller automatic winding caliber.
Dial is very nice. Each of the exploding arabic numerals is a different color, which means you can wear it with any and all clothing. Hands are coated in Super Luminova for low light legibility. The dial also has a very light guilloche with "shadow" numerals in the background.
Strap is a glossy blue crocodile with Franck Muller buckle. The new Franck Muller straps feature a quick-release system, which means you can remove and swap straps in a matter of seconds.
Watch is 100% unworn with box and papers.
