I love this watch and the background behind its development. Arnold Schwarzenegger collabotates with a group named Inner-City Games Foundation, in a project called Arnold's All-Stars, which strives to expand after-school programs for kids in Los Angeles. Arnold asked Audemars Piguet, with whom he has an excellent relationship (after wearing APs in many of his action movies), to make a limited edition watch to help raise funds for the Arnold's All-Stars program. How could they say no? Audemars Piguet made 99 of this special edition watch, some of which have been auctioned with the proceeds going to support the All-Stars program.

The watch itself is not only a great gesture, but also a killer watch. The 43mm case is solid platinum, as is the deployant clasp. Slightly domed sapphire crystal in front, while the caseback has a graffiti style "Arnolds All-Stars" in extra large size, followed by "Arnold's All-Stars After-School Adventures" and "LIMITED EDITION". Bezel is polished while the case sides and caseback are brush finished. The case is very massive and the lines are clean and modern. Fit and finish are perfect, as would be expected.

Dial is really nice. The applied roman numerals, and 6 of the 7 hands, are perfectly and beautifully blued. The 7th hand is red, which is on the Day/Night indicator adjacent to the second timezone subdial at 6 o'clock. The date is shown in the subdial in the upper right part of the dial, while power reserve is indicated in the upper left zone. The inner area of the dial is guilloche, and the pattern terminates in a large, smooth surfaced star at the dial's center.

Movement is the automatic winding Audemars Piguet Caliber 2329/2846 with 37 jewels and a power reserve of 40 hours.

My description does not do this watch justice. It is a beautiful, beautiful watch with massive proportions.

Watch is brand new with beautiful collector's box and papers.
