Description
This is a gorgeous and awesome watch. And what is IWC thinking with their retail prices? I mean, come on, this watch should have a $50,000+ retail price, instead of the bargain retail price of $38,000. This watch is drool worthy - simply great in every way. This watch's model number is 3754-07.
Case is solid platinum and massive - with dimensions of 41.5mm diameter by 16mm thick. Crown is screw down. Domed crystal. Water resistant to 30 meters.
The dial is a really beautiful blue. Displays are: date in the 3 o'clock subdial; month and chronograph 12 hour totalizer in the 6 o'clock subdial; day and constant seconds in the 9 o'clock subdial; moonphase and 30 minute chronograph totalizer in the 12 o'clock subdial. There is also a 4 digit year display between 7 and 8 o'clock. The dial, despite its many indications, is quite harmonious.
Movement is IWC's automatic winding Caliber C.79251 with 43 jewels and a 44 hour power reserve.
Strap is blue with platinum IWC tang buckle.
This has to be the complicated watch deal of the century... a platinum perpetual calendar with split seconds ("rattrapante") chronograph... you'd better buy it before I change my mind and decide to keep it!
Watch is new with box and papers.
