The reference 5513 is the most accessibly priced vintage Rolex Submariner, and this 5513 is super clean, original and in its full metal. It's just screaming to be worn!
Stainless steel case still has its full metal with the characteristic fat lugs and sharp case edges. 40mm diameter and domed acrylic crystal. Massive, screw-down case back and screw down crown. Uni-directional timing bezel. It's all good!
Dial is original, as are the hands. This is the prefered "no surrounds" dial, without the metal ringed hour markers typical on later production dials.
Movement is squeeky clean. Rolex automatic Caliber 1520 in truly impeccable condition. This movement and this watch will function for 100 more years, no question.
Inside caseback indicates production was in 1972. This is a great Rolex Submariner 5513 and is right on time for the summer.
