Description
Patek Philippe sometimes produces a special and limited edition watch for their best retailers, when the dealer is celebrating an important milestone. Such was the occassion in 2004, when Sincere Watch - the Asian powerhouse watch dealer - achieved its 50th anniversary. Such is how this limited edition of 50 blue dialed reference 5035 annual calendars in 18k white gold on a matching blue strap came into being. Our watch may well be the last brand new example of this watch out there. The 5035 has since been discontinued. It is an important Patek Philippe, because this is the first ever annual calendar.
Dial is blue with applied luminous roman numerals and luminous hands. The subdials display day, month and 24 hour time. The date is in a window at 6 o'clock. Railroad style minutes chapter at the dial's periphery.
The 18k white gold case is 36.5mm diameter by 11mm thick, and features a smooth bezel, domed front sapphire crystal and sapphire display back crystal. The display back is signed "1954 2004" with the Sincere Watch logo in between. The watch buckle is also 18k white gold.
Movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315 with power reserve of 48 hours, 35 jewels with 316 individual parts. Rotor is cast from 21k gold for winding efficiency. Movement is stamped with the ultra prestigious Geneve Seal.
Watch is brand new, untouched and still sealed, and complete with stylus, hangtag, papers and box.
