PATEK PHILIPPE 3718 JAPANESE COMMEMORATIVE CALATRAVA 1989

Here is a modern Patek Philippe that looks like a vintage Patek Philippe. You get the best of both worlds! It's also a special limited edition watch produced for the Patek Philippe dealers in Japan in 1989 to commemorate Patek's 150th Anniversary. It's a special watch made even more special because it has a stainless steel case, which in the context of Calatravas, is an even more precious metal than gold, due to its rarity.

Case is stainless steel with a diameter of 33mm by 8mm thick. Domed sapphire crystal. Caseback features a gold medallion with "PATEK PHILIPPE 1839 - 1989" with the Calatrava Cross at its center.

Dial is ivory enamel with applied white gold hour makers, with subsidiary seconds and white gold baton hands. The dial harkens back to Calatravas from an earlier era.

Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 215 with 18 jewels, adjusted to temperature and five positions and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
