Description
Antoine Preziuso graduated from the Geneva Watchmaking School, with the highest honors, in 1978, at 21 years old. He immediately went to work with Patek Philippe, where he worked on elite complications. In 1980, he started working for Antiquorum. He started their first restoration workshop, working on a wide range of historical, complicated and important clocks and watches. Mr. Preziuso has since gone on to start his own brand, align himself with the Academie des Horologers Createurs Independants (AHCI) in its earliest days, collaborated with Harry Winston on the amazing Opus Two, and develop a collection of elite watches for discerning clients.

From the Antoine Preziuso website: "His greatest works have been tested and awarded the much coveted and highly selective label of quality, the famous "Hallmark of Geneva" which is presented by the state of Geneva and which is borne by only four of the great names in watchmaking."

We are pleased to offer this Antoine Preziuso perpetual calendar. The opportunity to own a watch from Antoine Preziuso is a rare one, and clients who order a watch must wait for the privilege to own one.

Case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 39.3mm diameter by 12mm thick. The lugs are flared and reminiscent of the Malte case style from Vacheron Constantin. The bezel is two tiered and smooth. The underside of the bezel is coin edged, which is visible from the side of the watch but not from the top. The case sides taper downward toward the case back, which is also two tiered. The case back features a display crystal.

Movement is completely produced in the ateliers of Antoine Preziuso, and the finishing and construction are obvioulsy superior - as evidenced by the Geneva Seal. The caliber is signed "A. Preziuso"; "32 Rubis"; "Geneve" with the Geneva Seal stamped beside it; and "No. 003", which indicates this is only the third such caliber produced.

Dial is gold with blued hands in the calendar subdials and blackened Breguet style hands on the center pinion. Subdial at 12 o'clock displays months (including leap years); subdial at 3 o'clock displays date; subdial at 9 o'clock displays days, and the moonphase and age of the moon are indicated at 6 o'clock.

Overall condition of the watch is mint+
