Dauphine mania! Every time that I see a vintage watch with an 18k yellow gold case, silver dial and dauphine hands I remember why I love watches so much. This is the most beautiful combination of design elements, for me at least.
Original case is 18k yellow gold with diameter of 31.5mm with a domed acrylic crystal and early screw down case back -- Patek's first attempt at a water proof case.
Original movement is the Patek Philippe manual winding Caliber 12-400 with five bridge construction and swan's neck regulator.
Original dial is silver with applied hour markers and big, fat and original dauphine hands in all of their golden glory!
Strap is new old stock Patek black lizard with period 18k Patek buckle.
This is an important Patek Philippe wristwatch, given the early water proof case and one great looking and all original vintage watch.
