Description
This vintage Explorer has survived in remarkably great condition, since its "birth" from the Rolex factory in the fourth quarter of 1967. In fact, the case is free from any dings or scratches -- only very light hairlines indicate the age of this all original watch. The case appears never to have been polished. The movement is pristine. Dial and hands are original and perfect.
Original case is stainless steel with 36mm diameter. Crown operates perfectly. Domed acrylic crystal. Caseback screws down as it smoothly and securely. Case lines are intact and the entire case is perfectly preserved.
Original dial and hands are in perfect condition and a light patina is showing.
Original automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 is pristine and operating perfectly
