Description
If gold is king, and Patek is king, then the solid gold Nautilus must be the king of sports watches... and it is. The Nautilus features a very classical case, designed by Gerald Genta, which is different from most sports watch cases in that it is very flat while still retaining excellent water resistance (120 meters) and anti-shock protection. With dimensions of 36mm square by 8.3mm thick, the Nautilus also features a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal and integral bracelet. The bracelet is perfectly suited to the case, and the design and construction ensure that the bracelet will never sag or stretch and will not open inadvertently.
Dial is charcoal grey with horizontal guilloche, applied gold hour marker with luminous and hands also inlaid with luminous. Date is displayed at 3 o'clock.
Movement is the Patek Philippe Caliber 330 SC, which is automatic winding and is stamped with the Geneva Seal, watchmaking's highest level attestation of quality.
Watch is in like new condition with Patek Philippe box and original papers. This is a prestigious watch from watchdom's true king. Retail price was $37,200 in 2005, the last year the watch was produced.
