Description
This is one of the most elegant watches ever - the Patek Philippe Calatrava in platinum with glossy black factory diamond dial. The high quality diamonds are set off so nicely against the black dial. It's a truly stunning watch.
Case is solid platinum with dimensions of 34mm diameter by 8.7mm thick. Slightly domed sapphire crystal and screw-down case back. The case body and lugs are polished while the caseback is brush finished. The case lines are sleek, modern and elegant.
Dial is glossy black with factory set diamonds - 8 round and 3 baguette - and has a white gold framed date display at 3 o'clock. White gold dauphine hands. Center sweep seconds hand.
Movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315 SC with 30 jewels, six bridges, 224 individual parts, 48 hour power reserve and stamped with the Geneva Seal.
The reference 3998 is one of the most elegant Calatravas ever made, in my opinion. The reference has been discontinued for several years. This watch is new old stock condition and will be delivered with box and papers.
