Description
Franck Muller took the tonneau shaped watch case and made it his trademark style. He could not have chosen a simpler approach or a more elegant watch case shape. This particular watch is less elegant than many of his other, smaller, watches.
Instead, this is a massive, masculine, sporty and bold watch with its Franck Muller size 8880 matte stainless steel case which measures 46.6mm long (not including the lugs) by 38.7mm wide by 15.7mm thick.
Thankfully, the massive case is ergonomically curved for wearing comfort. The rubber Franck Muller strap also adds to the comfortable fit of the watch. The case has a sapphire crystal along with the special 10th Anniversary engraving on the case back.
The dial is black with exploding luminous Arabic numerals and hands. The hands are also blued at the edges, which looks great. In addition, the dial has a special symbol of two arcing laurels with the number ‘10’ inside to designate its significance as the Anniversary Limited Edition.
Movement is a premium quality automatic winding Franck Muller caliber.
Production of this watch was only 500 pieces and is now (long) sold out at Franck Muller dealers. This piece is watch number 29X/500 and is in unworn condition.
The watch will be delivered with box and papers.
