Here is an all original, unpolished condition vintage two-tone Rolex GMT Master with desirable Brown (versus the more common bronze or root beer) "Nipple" dial with correct two-tone bezel insert with original solid 18k gold bezel.
Case number 4005XXX dates production of this watch to 1974. Bracelet is also the original two-tone Rolex Oyster model 78363 with 12 links.
Case is stainless steel and 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 39.2mm diameter by 13mm thick. Acrylic crystal with cyclops date magnifier. Screw down 18k crown and bezel operate smoothly.
The original dial is the highlight of this watch... it's perfect in every way and has a very rich brown hue which is flattered nicely by the gold text and golden nipple style hour markers. The dial is in perfect condition and beautiful. Original hands with clean and intact luminous.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1570 with 36 jewels and adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. As the picture below illustrates, the movement is clean and mint and operating perfectly.
