Description
You know how sometimes a watch "pops"? When you have seen at least 500 Rolex 5513s in the metal, and then you see one that you can't resist picking up and strapping on your wrist - then that is a watch that pops. This is such a watch. The original tritium has just perceptibly started to darken, the lugs are fat, the gloss of the black dial is really black - this watch just looks great.
Case is stainless steel and is 40mm diameter. Domed acrylic crystal. Screw down Trip Lock crown operating as it should. Water resistant to 200 meters. The bezel turns smoothly and the insert is in perfect condition and the black matches the dial perfectly. Case number 914XXXX dates the watch to 1985.
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1520 with 26 jewels and is in perfect condition and running well.
The watch is on a really nice Patek Philippe strap (!) with vintage Rolex buckle.
