Description
Here is an all original, including box and papers (original purchase receipt, original warranty certificate, business card of the original AD salesman and original retailer warranty card), Rolex Cosmograph Daytona with black dial and red “Daytona” printing in original unpolished condition. Even the original hang tag is included! All papers and the hang tag correctly reference the watch’s serial number (7627XXX which dates production to 1982).
Original stainless steel case is 37mm in diameter with domed acrylic crystal, along with screw down crown and chronograph pushers, all working properly. Original reference 78350 Oyster bracelet has 12 links. The case and bracelet are in original, unpolished condition.
Original movement is the manual winding Rolex Caliber 727 with 17 jewels and adjusted to three positions. This is a column wheel construction chronograph caliber, which is acknowledged as the superior design from a mechanical and aesthetic perspective. The movement is in perfect running condition.
Original dial is black with contrasting silver chronograph sub dials and aforementioned “Big Red” red “Daytona” printing around the lower subdial and is in perfect condition. Hands are also original to this watch.
