Description
Rolex introduced this watch to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Submariner. The green bezel is the most obvious difference between this and a normal Sub. However, the dial is improved as well. When you carefully examine one of these Subs, you can't help but notice what an improvement this "Maxi Dial" is over the standard dial.
Stainless steel case is 40mm diameter by 12.8mm thick; water resistant to 300 meters; Trip-lock crown; Oyster bracelet with flip-lock clasp for added security.
Movement is the Rolex workhorse automatic caliber 3135, which has literally been incrementally improved over time to the point where it may be the best watch movement extant, in terms of reliability, serviceability, and accuracy. Cerified Chronometer.
