Description
While Patek Philippe may pride itself on the ultra thin movement contained in the reference 5022 Calatrava, it's the dial that makes this watch special to me. Clean is the operative concept. Starting with the white porcelain dial, the printed and stylized Arabic numerals, minutes chapter and subsidiary seconds dial and the blackened pomme style hands - just perfect, elegant, and classic.
Case is 18k white gold with dimensions of 34mm diameter by 6.5mm thick. Sapphire crystal. Water resistant to 25 meters.
Movement is manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 215 PS, featuring 18 jewels, Gyromax balance, power reserve of 44 hours and 130 individual parts. Movement is stamped with the Geneva Seal.
Strap is a black hand-sewn Patek crocodile with 18k white gold Patek tang clasp.
Watch is in new condition with Patek box.
