This vintage Rolex Submariner reference 5513 was produced in 1966/67 and is in mint 100% original condition. The original dial has the desirable “200M = 660 ft” depth rating.
This depth rating is called “meters first” by Rolex collectors.
Original case is stainless steel with dimensions of 40mm by 14.5mm thick. Domed acrylic crystal. Screw down crown is operating smoothly. Case features its full metal, fat lugs and crisp edges. Bezel turns smoothly.
Inside case back is stamped with the date code II.67 and the serial number 1585XXX supports the 1966/67 production date.
Original movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 1520 with 26 jewels. The movement is running well and is very clean.
Original black dial is very clean. Original hands.
The Rolex Garantia booklet is original to this watch and records the watch’s serial number along with the authorized dealer’s endorsement and the sales date July 27, 1970.
This is a clean, 100% original and very collectable Submariner.
