Description
Franck Muller didn't earn his moniker "Master of Complications" by churning out thousands of Casablanca models. He earned it by making masterful complicated watches that look great. This RMQPE watch is from the early 2000s, with a very low serial number, and offers the following complications: equation of time, perpetual calendar, moon phases, and minute repeater. It's truly matched in the complications department by how nice looking it is. The 18k yellow gold case is round with massive tear drop lugs with screws that hold the strap, large winding crown, broad bezel and repeater activation slide on the 9 o'clock case side. The silver dial offers several textures: satin finished, brush finished and guilloche. Add to the intricate finishing, the fact that the subdials are sunken and traced in gold, and you have a beautifully made wristwatch with horological bonafides.

Case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 36mm diameter by 12.9mm thick. Domed sapphire crystal on the front of the watch and display back crystal embedded in the massive case back. The serial number is engraved on the caseback bezel.

Dial is silver with roman numerals and provides the following indications: month and equation of time in the retrograde arc from 11 o'clock to 1 o'clock; leap year indication in the subdial adjacent to 2 o'clock; date in the larger subdial next to 3 o'clock, moonphase at 6 o'clock; day in subdial at 9 o'clock and 24 hour time in smaller, touching subdial. All hands are blued and the principal timekeeping hands are spade style.

Movement is the manual winding Franck Muller Caliber 13''' which features 30 jewels, swan neck regulator, self-compensating Breguet balance spring and is adjusted to 5 positions. The hammers and gongs of the minute repeating mechanism can be seen operating through the display back crystal.

Watch is on a black crocodile Franck Muller strap with 18k gold tang buckle. Watch is like new, operating perfectly (with a clear repeater tone) with box and papers
