“Je ne sais quoi” means in French, literally, “I do not know what”. It is used to say when someone or something has “that certain something” that is appealing, but it’s hard to say exactly what it is. This Rolex Day Date President in 18k white gold with blue Rolex diamond dial indeed has that certain something… but I think I can tell you what “it” is. The combination of the brushed and polished white gold on this watch’s Oyster bracelet, the domed bezel and the dark blue dial with diamond hour markets all combine for a stunning effect.

The 18k white gold case measures 36mm diameter by 12.5mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. The bezel is domed (also known as smooth). Crown screws down. Water resistant to 100 meters. Bracelet is 18k white gold Oyster with solid links that are polished in the center and brushed on either side. Bracelet has 12 full size links and two half size links (for getting an exact fit).
Movement is the automatic winding Rolex Caliber 3155 with 31 jewels, microstella regulating screws, Breguet balance spring with free sprung Glucydur balance. This caliber is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
