Description
Louis Vuitton is best known for their incomparably styled bags, as seen perched on the shoulders of the well heeled style conscious, which I have to say are really nice bags. A couple of years ago Louis Vuitton expanded their brand into watches, which they call the Tambour. The back side of the watch case features the famous Louis Vuitton pattern of geometric shapes.
Case is stainless steel with dimensions of 39mm diameter by 11.5mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. The case has an interesting shape in that it is wider at the bottom and tapers toward the top. On the outside perimeter of the watch near the top is engraved “LOUIS VUITTON”. The octagonal crown is signed “LV”.
The dial is brown with applied numbers, luminous hands and a yellow seconds hand, and date aperture at 3 o’clock. Movement is a high quality quartz caliber for accurate and trouble free timekeeping.
The watch is on a custom cuff style hand made oxblood color Shell Cordovan strap by Attila Aszodi Custom Designs. Shell Cordovan makes the perfect watch strap because unlike other leather straps, Shell Cordovan becomes softer and more comfortable with age and has an extremely long life, and is the most water resistant leather strap.
No box or papers are available. Watch is in mint condition.
