In fact, while other manufacturers, over the years, have come up with legion imitations of the Rolex Submariner, have developed both useful and useless innovations, tried to bring the dive watch more up-market or make it more affordable, the fact is that the Rolex Submariner is still the most popular and the best of all dive watches. In addition to that, if you had to choose just one watch for the rest of your life, this would be the watch to choose. It's a genuine tool watch and will withstand WHATEVER you subject it to; it will continue to look new and elegant for at least 50 years; it will keep great time and it will go up in price. Imagine if cars worked like this!

Stainless steel case measures 40mm diameter. Sapphire crystal. Screw down crown. Water resistant to 1000 feet/ 300 meters. Bracelet is all stainless steel Rolex Oyster with 11.5 links and flip-lock clasp.

Dial is glossy black with applied luminous hour markers and hands. Date display at 3 o'clock.

Movement is the Rolex automatic winding Caliber 3135 with 31 jewels and is adjusted to 5 positions and temperature. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified chronometer.

This watch is mint+ with box, hang tags and all papers. The watch is from 'F' series (2004) production. US Retail is $6000. Rolex has stopped delivering this classic reference 16610 Submariner to dealers, and the market for these watches is climbing quickly.
