The Gondolo models from Patek Philippe feature formed cases, which is to say cases that are not round. I happen to love these stepped case watches that fall under model number 5024. This particular watch has Patek's massive solid gold bracelet, which really complements the watch case. If you love gold watches, like we do, this is an irresistible watch.
The rectangular shaped case is solid 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 39mm long by 30.5mm wide by 7.3mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. The case is ergonomically curved. The gold is polished, except for the case back which is brush finished. The bracelet is original to the watch and is solid 18k gold with Patek Philippe signed clasp and will fit up to 7.5 inch wrist.
Dial is white porcelain with black printed and stylized arabic numerals, rectangular minutes chapter, subsidiary seconds dial and blackened feuille hands.
Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 215 PS with 18 jewels, 5 bridges, Gyromax balance beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with 130 individual parts, 44 hour power reserve and hallmarked with the Geneva Seal.
