Description
In 2001, Patek Philippe and Tiffany marked their 150th anniversary of working together. To commemorate this genuinely amazing partnership, Patek introduced their first-ever special edition timepiece for an American retailer, the "T150" annual calendar. Only 150 watches were made in yellow gold. This is a special watch in many ways, not the least of which is the hunter case back which opens to reveal the beautiful movement through the display back crystal. On the caseback is an engraving of a building displaying both "Patek Philippe" and "Tiffany" and the dates 1851-2001.
Patek even introduced a new interpretation of the calendar display for this important watch. Note the month display is indicated as Month 1 through 12. Dial is ivory color and also displays the day, date and moonphase.
Case is 18k yellow gold with dimensions of 36mm by 10mm thick. Sapphire front crystal, while the hunter case back conceals the sapphire display back crystal.
Movement is automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 315 with 35 jewels, a 21k winding rotor, and stamped with the Geneva Seal, attesting to its aesthetic and mechanical perfection.
Strap is crocodile with 18k yellow gold tang style Patek buckle.
Watch is mint+ condition and is accompanied by the special Certificate of Origin, other documents, setting stylus and box.
