Description
The Jaeger LeCoultre (JLC) Master Minute Repeater Antoine LeCoultre is a limited edition wristwatch produced in only 200 pieces in 2006. With its 44mm diameter solid platinum case, 15 day power reserve and minutes repetition, this is a powerful and impressive timepiece.
The oversized solid platinum case features a broad bezel, massive repeater slide, thick lugs, sapphire crystals front and back and is 44mm diameter by 15.5mm thick. The entire case is polished in finish.
The dial isn’t so much of a dial as an interface with the watch’s timekeeping and complications. Silver in color with applied white gold hour markers and white gold alpha hands, the front of the watch has cutaways for viewing much of the caliber below. There are also scales which show the power reserve remaining in the movement measured in days, as well as the amount of torque in the mainspring.
You can see the extremely high quality of this watch in its fit and finish, both of the dial and case as well as the movement. JLC is among the elite Swiss manufactures and this watch illustrates why better than my words can ever convey.
Movement is the manual winding Jaeger LeCoultre Caliber 947 with 43 jewels, dual spring barrels to achieve the 15 day power reserve, and of course minutes repetition. The hammers of the minute repeating complication can be seen working in the SPRING TORQUE dial cutout.
Strap is black JLC crocodile with 18k white gold JLC deployant clasp.
This is a spectacular limited edition minute repeater from one of the most respected Swiss manufactures. I am a big JLC fan. Watch is 99% new. The US Retail Price is $197,000.
