Description
Omega’s SeaMaster is one of the legendary diver’s watches. Omega paired up with the James Bond franchise in the 1990s, and several limited edition “007” watches came out of this association between the brand and the super secret agent. This watch is like new and complete with box and papers.
First off, it’s the case that makes a dive watch a dive watch. Extreme water resistance is a given, and this watch is water resistant to 300 meters (1,000 feet). The crystal is thick sapphire. The lugs have a contour that is unique to the SeaMaster. The uni-directional diver’s bezel has a blue insert with count-up timing scale. Screw down crown works smoothly. The helium escape valve is at the 10 o’clock position. Case back is engraved with ‘007’ with gun logo.
Dial is blue with applied highly luminous hour markers (with a double hour marker at 12 o’clock), skeleton hands with luminous and date window at 3 o’clock. The seconds hand has the ‘007’ with gun logo as its counter balance and red tip. The dial has a spiral pattern reminiscent of a gun barrel.
Movement is the automatic winding Omega Caliber 2500 with Omega’s impressive Co-Axial technology. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is massive but supple SeaMaster Professional bracelet with folding button-release clasp that is also engraved with the ‘007’ logo. Bracelet will fit up to a 7 inch wrist.
