PATEK PHILIPPE 3992 J CALATRAVA 18K

The Patek Philippe Calatrava is such an elegant watch. There are many versions of the Calatrava from its many decades of production, but this reference 3992 is probably the most classical of all. Featuring a thin (7mm) 18k yellow gold case, Clous de Paris engraved bezel, white dial with roman numerals and blackened hands and an automatic winding Patek Philippe manufacture movement, this Calatrava dots all of the ‘i’s and crosses all of the ‘t’s.

The solid gold case is 33mm diameter and has a sapphire crystal. The case is polished on the top surfaces and brushed on the sides, giving it the perfect amount of panache.

Movement is the automatic winding Patek Philippe Caliber 240 with 27 jewels, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions and is stamped with the ultra prestigious Geneva Seal. The caliber also features a 22k gold micro-rotor, otherwise even Patek’s watchmakers couldn’t pull off casing an automatic movement in such a thin case.

Strap is black Patek crocodile with 18k gold Patek buckle.

This watch is from the early 1990s but is still in new condition.
