Description
This impressive annual calendar wristwatch from Hermes has a unique 18k rose gold tonneau case and esoteric arrangement of the calendar display. Ridiculously rare, because Hermes customers and watch collectors have snapped them all up, these limited edition Dressage annual calendar watches never show up in the market… until now.
The tonneau shaped solid rose gold case measures 46mm long by 40mm wide by 12.7mm thick. The front and display back crystals are sapphire. The case finish alternates between polished and brushed surfaces. Interestingly, the crown screws down (which is very unusual on anything but a sports watch). The level of “fit & finish” on this watch case is outstanding. Of course, the rose gold case is beautiful.
The dial presents a very interesting display of its calendar functions. The date is displayed in the arc spanning from the 8 o’clock to the 4 o’clock positions, by the center mounted hand with the red crescent at its tip. The day is displayed on the gold colored wheel beneath the dial cutout on the left side of the dial, while the month is displayed the same way but on the right side of the dial. The watch’s main hands are feuille style rose gold. The hours are depicted by gold traced circles that surround each of the arabic numerals.
Movement is the automatically winding Hermes Caliber H1929. The movement’s bridges are finely decorated with the Hermes “H” logo. Movement has 32 jewels and is adjusted to 5 positions.
Strap is brown Hermes leather with 18k rose gold Hermes deployant clasp.
The Dressage annual calendar was produced in only 170 watches with a rose gold case. This is a low number in the production. Watch will be delivered with Hermes box and documents.
