Description
Here is a really nice watch for the money, complete with its box and goodies (extra canvas strap and wrenches), warranty card and instruction booklet. Watch is 99% new.
Large square stainless steel case measures 42mm X 42mm X 10mm thick. Length is 51.5mm if measured from lug tip to lug tip. Case finish alternates between brushed surfaces and polished edges and polished, exposed screw heads. Crystal is sapphire. Crown is knurled for easy gripping. Case back markings show that this watch is water resistant to 100 meters and “AVIATION TYPE / MILITARY SPEC.”. The “fit & finish” level of this case is quite high.
Dial is matte black and Bell & Ross did not cut corners with the luminous! The large hands, large arabic numerals and hour markers, and the seconds/minutes chapter are all brightly luminous. Most of the seconds hand is also luminous. Date display between 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock.
Movement is the excellent automatic winding ETA 2892 with 21 jewels. This movement is a high-level caliber often chosen for very high end watches.
Strap is black rubber with large ‘BR’ steel clasp. Second canvas strap included. Watch is 99% new.
