Description
Patek Philippe made very few stainless steel Calatravas over the years, and these steel watches are now quite collectable.
This is a nice vintage reference 3509 Calatrava from 1968 with pleasing original and untouched silvered dial with applied baton style hour markers and original baton hands.
Case measures 33.5mm diameter. Case also features domed acrylic crystal and steel screw back (which protects the watch from dirt and water/humidity intrusion).
Movement is the manual winding Patek Philippe Caliber 23-300 with 18 jewels, balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and in 5 positions. Movement is stamped with the Geneva Seal. Strap is new high quality crocodile with steel tang buckle.
