You don’t need to be a yacht racer to appreciate this well-made attractive Bulgari sports watch. The Diagono Professional Regatta Chronograph has a yacht racing course timer with the 5 circle arc of blue and red incorporated as a chronograph. The various markings on the white dial and revolving compass bezel serve as a navigational tool.
Robust stainless steel case measures 40mm diameter by 15.5mm thick. Water resistant to 300 meters. Sapphire crystal. Screw down crown and chronograph pushers. Massive steel screw down case back engraved “BVLGARI BVLGARI DIAGONO PROFESSIONAL”. Stainless steel bracelet will fit up to a 5.75 inch wrist.
White dial with highly luminous hour markers and racing timer arc of blue and red circles and other navigational markings.
Movement is automatic chronograph caliber 42028 which is an ETA 2892-A2 ebauche coupled with a Dubois-Depraz module exclusive for Bvlgari. Movement has 39 jewels and beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour. The ETA 2892 is the watch business’ dirty little secret: it’s so high end that many manufacturers use it in their watches disguised with their own caliber number.
