Hermes is a deservedly famous French fashion house. Unlike most fashion houses, Hermes offers some interesting timepieces and very much unlike most fashion houses, they keep the production of their watches low and exclusive.
This Espace in stainless steel on a steel bracelet is a combination of analog (traditional watch hands to tell the time) and digital (multiple functions displayed in gold) functions. This is a rare watch, and will make a fantastic travel watch.
Hermes calls the digital functions “Instrument” functions. This Espace provides the following digital functions: Local Time, Seconds and Date, Day and Date, Count Down Timer, Chronograph (count up timer), Second Time Zone, and Alarm. The digital display can also be turned off. All of these functions are enabled by turning or pushing the crown.
Movement is quartz. Bracelet will fit up to 7.5 inch wrist. Case back has Hermes logo engraved in relief. Watch size is 42.8mm long (lug tip to lug tip) by 38mm wide by 7mm thick. Sapphire crystal. Case side is engraved “Hermes-Paris”. Watch is in mint condition with a new battery.
