Description
The Rolex Yachtmaster is really a perfect watch for daily wear. First of all, the silver dial means it compliments all wardrobe choices. The red text and seconds hand, in addition to the 100 meters water resistant case, make it appropriately sporty. The polished steel case and bracelet center links make it tastefully flashy. The bezel with the bold numbers, carved out in relief, makes it decidely masculine. The automatic Rolex Caliber 3135, a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer, makes it a very accurate timekeeper. Finally, the platinum (not only in color but in composition) dial and bezel make the Yachtmaster very prestigious and opulent. That's a lot of great stuff for one watch... and here it is, 99% new with box and papers.
Steel case measures 40mm diameter by 11.7mm thick. Uni-directional diver's bezel. Sapphire crystal. Screw down crown. Water resistant to 100 meters. What makes this watch case so special and so attractive is the solid platinum bezel, which if you have seen platinum "in the metal" before, you know that it has a unqiuely warm hue to it that gets better with time.
The Yachtmaster's dial also is made from a solid pane of platinum. Like the bezel, the dial has a warm and rich color. Applied hour markers and hands have luminous. Date at 3 o'clock.
The Rolex Oyster bracelet features solid end links and polished center links.
