Description
Here is a Tudor Submariner from 1980 with so-called “Snowflake” hands, 39mm stainless steel Rolex Oyster case (signed on the case back “ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA”) and on stainless steel Tudor folded link Oyster bracelet with flip-lock clasp.
Original steel case has fat lugs, original Rolex bezel with sharp edges and crisp serrated edge and original black Rolex bezel insert (the “pearl” hole is filled in with luminous), top hat style acrylic crystal, and Rolex Triplock crown which is working fine. Being a dive watch, when properly sealed and pressure tested by a watchmaker, case is water resistant to 200 meters.
Original black dial is in mint condition with darkened original tritium hour markers, original hands with patina and date at 3 o’clock. Dial text reads: “TUDOR PRINCE OYSTERDATE 200m = 660 ft SUBMARINER”.
Original automatic winding Tudor movement with 25 jewels which is very clean and working great.
Serial number of this watch is 9664XX. Inside case back is signed with the Tudor markings and with ‘9411’.
Folded link Tudor Oyster bracelet has 11 links and is in excellent condition.
