Description
The Heuer Silverstone is a legendary vintage chronograph from THE chronograph brand of the 1970s: Heuer. Jack Heuer loved car racing and his original, personally designed 1970’s chronographs are synonymous with car racing from that period.
This Silverstone chronograph has a large distinctive cushion case shape, or if you prefer a square case with rounded corners. Stainless steel with dimensions of 43.5mm square by 14mm thick. Crystal is sapphire. This two-part case has the crown at 9 o’clock and the two chronograph pushers on the right side of the case.
Original untouched brownish grey with radial brush finish. When you move this watch around and let the light play on its dial, the color changes into many tones of grey, from a steel grey to brown gray. Large original luminous hands and small, uniquely shaped original subdial hands. The subdials are for the chronograph totalizers, one for 30 minutes and one for 12 hours. Date is at 6 o’clock.
Original Heuer Caliber 12 is automatic winding with 17 jewels. Movement is running great and the chronograph hands reset crisply and accurately to their zero positions. Condition is perfect.
Strap is new generic rubber with generic steel buckle. Watch is in original mint condition.
