Description
This beautiful vintage, circa 1970 Omega Constellation "C" automatic, reference 1680057, is in absolutely mint condition. In fact, whenever we come across such a stunning example, especially in solid 18k, it's difficult for us to put it up for sale...seriously, we're all watch nuts around here and we love mint, vintage and original timepieces!
The iconic Omega "C" case doesn't appear to have ever been polished and features a beautiful satin and mirrored finish throughout. All hallmarks and Observatory emblem on the caseback are crisp and fully intact. The case measures 35mm in diameter and is highlighted by the finely milled coin edge bezel and flat sapphire crystal, which add a very elegant and understated touch to this watch.
The dial is gold with a sateen brush finish and features applied markers with inlaid onyx accents, as do the original hands. The day/date function is positioned at 3 o'clock and is a double quickset type.
Movement is the automatic 23 jeweled Omega chronometer, caliber 1021, adjusted to five positions and in spotless condition!
Simply a wonderful piece to add to any collection or to wear as a daily watch. This Omega Constellation will be delivered on a tan colored quality suede strap with aftermarket gold plated tang buckle.
