Description
Wow. Just wow. What a watch. Breitling never included this Crosswind Special limited edition of only 25 watches in their marketing materials. They kept it hush hush and it quickly sold out to their best customers, who were offered the watch by their authorized dealers. Limited to only 25 pieces, the watch was almost instantly sold out.
Original solid 18k white gold case, completely laden with original factory diamonds, has case back engraved with the watch’s model number, limited edition number and serial number and “SERIE SPECIALE LIMITEE A 25 EXEMPLAIRES”. Measuring 44mm diameter by 15mm thick, with sapphire crystal, solid 18k white gold bezel with “riders” at the cardinal points, and screw down crown and oval shaped chronograph pushers. Diamonds are set into the bezel and top and side surfaces of the case.
Dial is mother of pearl with diamond hour markers and three subdials and date. There is a big date display underneath the applied Breitling logo.
Movement is the automatic winding Breitling Caliber 44 with 38 jewels. Movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Bracelet is solid 18k white gold with diamonds inset in the links. Bracelet features flip-lock safetly clasp and will fit up to an 8 inch wrist.
