Description
Ikepod is the original funky, high end chronograph. Ikepod watches are designed by Marc Newson, famous for his "pod" designs.
This watch is the Hemipode model, which features a 2nd timezone indicated in the 6 o'clock subdial, date in the 3 o'clock subdial, chronograph in the 12 o'clock subdial and constant seconds in the 9 o'clock subdial. The second timezone hand can be set independently using the button on the left case side.
Case is brushed stainless steel with two piece "pod" construction. Dimensions are 44mm in diameter by 16mm thick. Sapphire crystal in front and a viewing "porthole" in the caseback which permits viewing the balance wheel.
Dial is black. Hour and minute hands are coated in green luminous material. Seconds hand is orange.
Movement is the automatic winding Valjoux Caliber 7750 modified for second timezone. This movement is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Strap is black rubber with unique Ikepod attachment system.
