Description
Wow. This is an amazing watch. Amazingly great looking, along with the best that Haute Horology has to offer. Combining a massive 18k white gold case with a one minute tourbillon and chronograph complications, along with handsome white dial and skeletonized hands, this is as impressive as it is important.
The 18k solid white gold case measures 43mm in diameter by 13.8mm thick. Sapphire front crystal and display back crystal. The massive bezel and the tops of the lugs are mirror polished, while the case sides are brush finished.
Let me tell you, this watch looks like a million bucks on the wrist.
White dial has large luminous arabic numerals and skeletonized and luminous hands. The one minute tourbillon is visible through the dial cutout at 6 o’clock. The tourbillon is mounted to a polished steel bridge and also has the seconds hand attached to it, and there is a seconds chapter around the edge of the tourbillon cutout. There is a 30 minute chronograph totalizer subdial adjacent to 3 o’clock.
Movement is the manual winding Audemars Piguet Caliber 2879 with 25 jewels, adjusted to temperature and in five positions. The chronograph complication has column wheel construction. Being an AP caliber, it is also exquisitely finished.
Strap is new hand-sewn black AP crocodile with 18k white gold AP deployant clasp.
This watch is in new condition and is complete with box and papers. It received a factory service in February 2012 to the tune of 2600 euros, so it is perfect inside and outside.
