Description
This watch appears to be a piece unique and is mint+ condition. We’ve certainly never seen another vintage Datejust that looks like this one. Smokey gold dial and rose gold bezel and crown, all original and exceptionally nice looking.
Original stainless steel and 18k rose gold case with the characteristic raised plastic crystal that gives the 1601 its unique profile. Original 18k rose gold fluted bezel and screw down crown, working perfectly. Bezel shows patina on the gold and is very crisp. Case is mint+.
Original untouched smoky gold dial with radial brush finish, applied golden hour markers, golden baton hands and date display at 3’oclock.
I don’t think that our description and pictures can fully capture how unique and nice looking this watch is. The unique dial color plays perfectly off the rose gold fluted bezel and the effect is amazing.
Original automatic winding Rolex 1570 Caliber with 26 jewels, adjusted to temperature and in 5 positions. Movement is immaculate and running fine. This is a C.O.S.C. Certified Chronometer.
Watch will be delivered on a Patek Philippe crocodile strap that compliments it perfectly along with Rolex buckle.
