Description
Here is an early all-original and highly collectable vintage Rolex Cosmograph Daytona chronograph with original two-color so-called panda Paul Newman dial.
Original stainless steel case has polished steel bezel with the legendary Units per Hour scale, plastic crystal, original screw down crown and round pump-style chronograph pushers both working great, and screw back engraved with ‘6239’. Dimensions are 37mm diameter by 13mm thick. Case back is engraved J T HOLLOWAY
Original white two-color Paul Newman (also known as Exotic) dial with contrasting black subdials. Original hands. Dial is near mint.
Original manual winding Rolex Caliber 72B with 17 jewels and adjusted in 3 positions. This chronograph caliber features column wheel construction. Movement is clean and running.
Original Rolex riveted Oyster bracelet with 12 links and date code 1-65. Bracelet is clean with light to moderate stretch.
