Description
The Cartier Tank Basculante draws its inspiration from the Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso, as the watch pivots inside its steel brancard and can be laid down with the watch turned up like a clock. Of course, being an original Cartier timepiece gives it a prestige and status which is unrivaled.
Stainless steel case including brancard measures 35.3mm long by 23.5mm wide by 5.9mm thick. There is a sapphire cabochon on the tab that you pull to lift the watch out of its frame. Crystal is sapphire. Case finish alternates between mirror polished and brushed surfaces.
Dial is matte silver and all of the classical Cartier style elements are here: roman numerals, internal minutes chapter and blued sword hands. Movement is a quartz Cartier caliber for accurate and trouble-free timekeeping.
Strap is orange Cartier crocodile and shows some wear. Steel Cartier buckle. Watch is in nice pre-owned condition.
